Epidural Steroid Injection
Cervical Embed:
1. What it Treats
A cervical epidural steroid injection is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and nerve irritation in the neck and arms. It is commonly recommended for conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or degenerative disc disease affecting the cervical spine.
2. How the Procedure Is Performed
The procedure is performed using X-ray or fluoroscopic guidance to accurately place a needle into the epidural space in the cervical spine. A combination of steroid medication and local anesthetic is injected to reduce inflammation and relieve pain radiating into the neck, shoulders, or arms.
Thoracic Embed:
1. What it Treats
A thoracic epidural steroid injection is used to relieve pain and inflammation in the mid-back and areas affected by nerve irritation. It is commonly recommended for conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or degenerative disc disease in the thoracic spine.
2. How the Procedure Is Performed
The procedure is performed using X-ray or fluoroscopic guidance to accurately place a needle into the epidural space in the thoracic spine. A combination of steroid medication and local anesthetic is injected to reduce inflammation and relieve pain that may radiate to the chest, mid-back, or upper abdomen

1. What it Treats
A lumbar epidural steroid injection is used to relieve lower back and leg pain caused by conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or degenerative disc disease in the lumbar spine. It helps reduce inflammation around irritated spinal nerves to improve mobility and decrease discomfort.
2. How the Procedure Is Performed
The procedure is performed using X-ray or fluoroscopic guidance to accurately place a needle into the epidural space in the lower back. A combination of steroid medication and local anesthetic is injected to decrease inflammation and relieve pain that may radiate into the buttocks, thighs, or legs
