Fluoroscopically Guided Hip Injection
What it Treats
A fluoroscopically guided hip injection is used to relieve pain caused by arthritis, labral tears, bursitis, or other hip joint conditions. It can help reduce inflammation and improve mobility in the affected hip.
How the Procedure Is Performed
The procedure is performed using X-ray (fluoroscopic) guidance to ensure precise needle placement within the hip joint. A combination of steroid medication and local anesthetic is injected directly into the joint to reduce inflammation and relieve pain
